Show ' ' ' ' NEW PRESIDENCY On Nov. 9, under the direc-tion direc-tion of Pres. LeGrand Richards of the Council of the Twelve and Earl Tingey, regional re-gional representive, the 5200 member Val Verda Stake was divided into two new stakes, the Val Verda and the North Canyon stakes. THE VAL VERDA Stake will be comprised of the Val Verda 2nd. 3rd. 4th. 6th and 8th wards. The new North Canyon Ca-nyon Stake will be comprised of the Val Verda 1st. 5th. 7th. 8th. 10th and 1 1th wards. There was no change in any of the ward boundaries. New presidency of the stake include, in-clude, front Clarence R. Bishop, president. Standing, Terry D. Bailey, 2nd counselor; Linford C. Beckstrand, 1st counselor, and Howard R. Catlin, executive ex-ecutive secretary. West and 2600 South, while the North Canyon Stake will be housed in the 7th-9th ward building (white chapel on the hill) until completion of the new North Canyon Stake House in Chelsea Cove.
