Show Kay and Mary Jane Rees have returned from a very enjoyable en-joyable ten day trip to Hawaii. David and Christine Gill enjoyed en-joyed visiting in Provo the weekend of Oct. 24 and 25. Mrs. Ruth Manning and Mrs. Lydia Kilpack enjoyed a trip to Tremonton over the weekend, where they visited with Mr. and Mrs. Wilson, who recently returned from a mission to New York City. Miss Natalie Goodsell, daughter of Lewis and Eleanor Goodsell, returned home from her mission to California on Wednesday, Oct. 20. Mr- and Mrs. Bill Rigby and children, Raquel and Billy enjoyed en-joyed visiting with Mrs. Rigby's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Malan Stevens in Holden, Utah over the weekend. Andy Bavelos, son of Jim and Helen Bavelos is doing a wonderful job as a missionary in Toronto, Canada, having been made senior partner after being in the field for a short time. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Mooney and Becke Rigby enjoyed a family dinner on Sunday, Oct. 24 at the home of the Mooney' s son, Jack and his wife, Chris in Farmington. Dallas and Geneve Workman Work-man enjoyed a trip to Colorado over the weekend. The stork has been busy in Centerville, bringing a fall crop of little new arrivals. For Marcus and Elaine Binning Bin-ning it was a new little son, born in the new Lakeview Hospital in Bountiful. For Randy and Renee Smith it was also a new little son, born in the LDS Hospital on Tuesday, Oct. 19, weighing seven pounds and 12 ounces. His name is David Brandon and his grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Jay Hirschi, Tremonton, Mrs. Betty Smith, Casper, Wyoming, who is visiting with Randy and Renee and greeting her new grandson, grand-son, and Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Nelson of Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Randy Darrohn were also happy to welcome a new little son in their home. He was born in the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City. For Mr. and Mrs. Mark Kynaston it was a new little daughter. She was born in the LDS Hospital also. As was the little new son born to Mr. and Mrs. Paul J. Miller. In the Lakeview Hospital on ,Sept. 28, a little daughter was born to Paulette and George Barker. On Thursday, Oct. 7, a son was born to Chad and Patricia Scott and on Friday, Oct. 15, Steve and Sherry Kylisch became parents of a new little son. The North Syracuse Camp DUP held their October meeting meet-ing on Thursday, Oct. 21 at the home of Mrs. Ellie Wilson, vice captain. Estella Hess conducted the meeting. Present were three members who have been absent for some time due to extended illnesses. ill-nesses. They were Leone Fisher, captain of the camp; Arietta Williams, secretary and treasurer; and Mrs. Edna France, who had suffered an automobile accidtnt. The prayer was by Josephine Bradshaw, chaplain. Singing "Drink To Me Only With Thine Eyes" led by chorister Lydia Kilpack. A pioneer history was read by Donna Cottle, who was welcomed wel-comed as a new memberofthe camp. The lesson, "Pioneer Bands and Orchestras" was presented by Lydia Kilpack. Hostesses for the day were Mrs. Florence Wilson and Loretta Corbridge. The book, "Our Pioneer Heritage", was won by Mrs. Ruth Van Den Hazel. Delbert and Buelah Cook recently enjoyed a ride through Wyoming where they stopped to visit with relatives before going on through Yellowstone Park. They said the scenery was beautiful and the weather warm enough to enjoy seeing Old Faithful with just a sweater to keep off the chill. Mrs. Shelia Jolley suffered the misfortuneof breaking her ankle recently. The First Ward members are busilv planning a Bazaar. to be held Friday, Nov. 19 m the newly remodeled and enlarged White Chapel. There will be booths for homemade bakery goods and candies, and many other articles, plus an auction of various services to be rendered. Mrs. Ruby Jeppson has been enjoying some visitors this past week. They were Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Godfrey and family from Denver, Gregg and Christine Moseley from Phoenix, and a surprise visit to Mrs. Jeppson was the wife of her cousin from Cardston, Alberta, Canada, Mrs. Winifred Smith. On Sunday, Oct. 10 Mrs. Ruby Jeppson attended the missionary farewell of her grandson, Jeff Jeppson, son of Mr. and Mrs. David Jeppson, Kaysville. Jeff left the following follow-ing week for the Southern California Mission. On Sunday, Oct. 17, Mrs. Jeppson attended a missionary mis-sionary farewell for her granddaughter, Janice Jeppson, Jepp-son, daughter of Bruce and Helen Jeppson of Farmington. Janice will be leaving soon for the Seattle, Washington Mission. Mis-sion.
