Show WEDDING BELLS RING OUT . . . Year 1956 Makes New Record of Local Marriages The year of 1956, which is about" to end, has probably established a record in marriages in this area. Following is a compilation of marriages mar-riages which have appeared in the Roosevelt Standard and Uintah Basin Record during the past" year. Wedding vows were exchanged Thursday, Dec. 29, by Miss Ina June Hamilton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Hamilton, Roosevelt, Roose-velt, and Byron K. Hardy, son of' Mr. and Mrs. Paul Hardy of La-point. La-point. Bishop Merlin Sullivan of the Roosevelt 4th Ward, performed the ceremony at 7:30 p.m. at the Roosevelt Stake House. Setting Tuesday, Feb. 14, as her wedding date is Miss Ila Rae El-lingford, El-lingford, whose engagement to Grant Jarman is announced this week by her parents, Bishop and Mrs. Gilbert Ellingford of White-rocks. White-rocks. The benedict-elect is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Jar-man Jar-man of Randlett. A marriage in the Salt Lake Temple, is planned. Phillip Hollingsworth, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Hollingsworth, Hollings-worth, Sr., of Flagstaff, Arizona, and Miss Roene Asay, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Zane Asay', were united in marriage Monday evening, even-ing, Jan. 9, at the Roosevelt Seminary, Sem-inary, with Pres. Hollis G. Hullin-ger Hullin-ger performing the ceremony. Miss Margaret Carlson, daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Thure Carlson and Clem Oberhansly exchanged marriage vows Friday, Jan. 13, in Salt Lake City. The new bridegroom bride-groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Oberhansly of Neola. Mr. and Mrs. Don Bums announce an-nounce the marriage of their daughter, Eva June to Clarence Hesse. Spring nuptials united in marriage mar-riage Miss Wanda Sprouse and Arlo McDaniel, the ceremony being performed Saturday, March 24, in Monticello, Utah. The new bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Sprouse of Ballard, and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Glen Warren Tooele. Miss Mary Ann Mathisen chose to be a Leap Year bride, when she pledged vows Feb 29 with Harold Gene Rider, son of Mr. and Mrs C. F. Rider of Selma, Virginia.
