Show ZION PARK CAMP With the reorganization and 1 adjustment of Company 1966 for j the winter programs several; changes have 'taken place in the' company personell. C. 3. Trempe.j who has been mess Stewart, has been promoted to First Sargeant . and Ward Phelps has been made mess steward. Mr. Phelps has. been chief cook for the company. Charles Peyrone and Mack Bean, foreman and mechanic attached at-tached to camp NP-2 are leaving November 9 on vacations. Mr. j Peyrone will return to his homel in California and Mr. Bean-with his family will travel to western j Texas to visit relatives. I Von H. Robertson, educational adviser attached to Bridge Moun- tain CCC camp has been appoint-, ed to service in Zion Park campj as well. He takes the place of; A. B. Olsen who has been trans-j ferred to Milford, Utah, to take charge of educational work with a new eastern company. General Foreman Francis Raile has been appointed project superintendent super-intendent of Zion CCC camp to succeed Dan Beck. Under the winter project program for Zion National Park Frank Rozelle, former for-mer superintendent of the Bryce CCC camp is coordinating super-) visor for all ECW work with Mr. Raile and Owen Johnson as camp project superintendent. Work projects for . the Zion camp includes construction of a truck trail to Look Out Point on the east rim of Zion Canyon, channel changes in the- Virgin River, erosion control work on the floor of the canyon, and main-tainence main-tainence work on erosion projects. |
