Show BOY WAS BURIED ALIVE, What an Undertaker Discovered in Exhuming Exhum-ing a Body. An undertaker who was exhuming the bodies of members of the Smutzer family who lived at Mullica Hill, N. J., about twenty-five years ago, for final burial in Philadelphia, found one coffin cof-fin containing the skeleton of a boy, the condition of which bore evidence of an awful struggle. The bones of the legs were drawn up, and the arms were extended across the face. The flash of the casket, which had been above the boy's head wasbroken. The position of the body and the condition of the coffin indicated that the boy had been buried alive and had died in agony. |
