Woodman, scriptorian for the Death Valley Trails programs over the National hookup for Twenty-Mule Team Borax company, again expresses appreciation for the story material she received while in St. George last fall on one of her scouting trips. Referring to St. George as the "outstanding high spot" of he'r trip she says, "Never, anywhere, any-where, have we met such kindness kind-ness and cordiality, combined with real intelligence. I am looking forward more than I can say to returning there some time". According to plans Death Valley Val-ley Trails program will feature St. George's own story of the Sego Lily, (connected with the faimly of the late David H. Cannon) Can-non) Thursday, Mar. 26th. This advance notice will advise people to watch for the program. Should any change of date be made, the News will report it. To be featured fea-tured later will be the story of the coming of the first band instruments in-struments to Santa Clara, which will also interest Dixieites. That date will also be published when received. "Mrs. Woodman extends kind regards to Grandma Jane Bleak, along with others whom she met during her stopover in St. George," reports Mabel Jarvis. |
