Show Mary Parker engaged to wed T. J. Monson in temple rites Miss Mary Parker, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lindsay Parker of this city, is making plans for her marriage to Thomas J. Monson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse H. Monson of Pleasant Grove. The wedding is to be an event of February 12 in the Salt Lake Temple and a wedding reception will honor the couple the following evening at the home of an aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Wheeler. The Charming bride-elect graduated from LDS Seminary Sem-inary and Springville High School where she was active in a cappella choir and the Steno Club. She is a talented pianist and renders service in church and school programs. She is currently enrolled as a junior at Brigham Young University where she is also employed in secretarial work. Also enrolled as a junior at BYU, Mr. Monson graduated gradu-ated from Pleasant Grove High School and LDS Seminary. He was active in high school sports and filled a two-and-a-half-year mission in Uruguay. He is in the United States Army Reserve and has served six months at Fort Ord, California. Cali-fornia.
