A., as possibly the Iarg i I est single social event of the M. I. A season Tk J ! d3te is set for Friday evening, Reason. L he dance December 5. ' One of the important phases of I the annual ball, is the selection j of the queen to represent the var-I var-I jous wards at the event. The I queens are selected by popular j vote of M. I. A. members and this I year the wards have chosen the following girls: I First ward: Miss Beverly Boy-er, Boy-er, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Har-lan Boyer; Second ward, Miss Delores Childs, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Childs; Third ward, Miss Ruth Sargent, daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Merle Sargent; Sar-gent; Fourth ward, Miss Dorothy Cranmer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Cranmer; Fifth ward, I Miss Joan Smith, daughter of Mr. ' and Mrs. Wayne Smith; Sixth ward, Miss Merlyn Whitney, The Mapleton queen will be chosen chos-en in the very near future. It is expected also that kings will be selected to attend each queen and these will be announced later. In the meantime, officers of the stake and the ward are co- -i operating to make the event one "I of the best yet held. |
