Show ;Home Culture Club Completes Plans for Golden Anniversary 7 - ( Mrs. John Judd has composed a skit, designed especially to commemorate com-memorate the organization of the club and its activities through the years. She will be the reader and club members will take part in appropriate costumes to add to the spirit of the program. There will be a large birthday cake and other special details will mark the occasion. In charge of refreshments is Mrs. Harrison Conover, assisted by Mrs. Ronald Thorpe, Mrs. Jack vPerham, Mrs. G. B. Orton, Mrs. Alma Miner. Mrs. C. E. Eggertsen and Mrs E. V. Boorman are co-chairmen in charge of the invitations. Mrs. Harold Christensen, Mrs. Maurice Bird, Mrs. John Judd, Mrs. C. A. Franks, Mrs. Catherine Cather-ine D. Wills, are in charge of the program. In the reception line will be Mrs. J. R. Morrison, Mrs. C. R. Lomax, state and district presidents, respectively re-spectively and officers of the club. Plans were being completed this ;i week for the Birthday Tea and program sponsored by1 the Home - Culture Club in celebration of the " Golden Anniversary of the organization organ-ization of the club. The entertain- ment will be held on Saturday, May 26, at 2:30 p.m., in the Third-Ninth Third-Ninth ward church. 0 Invitations have been given to all Federated club members of Springville to attend the function. Mrs. J. R. Morrison of Salt Lake City, state federation president; ' Mrs.' C. R. Lomax of Nephi, dis- Mj trict president and other state and district officials will be in attend- j ance. Also each member of the Home Culture club may bring a , guest. Mrs. Warren Beardall is general i chairman of the entertainment and is being assisted by the club of-i of-i ficers and a large corps- of com-mi com-mi ttee-workers. Mrs. Arthur Con-die Con-die is president; Mrs. Alma Miner, Min-er, vice-president; Mrs. W. H. Anderson, An-derson, secretary-treasurer. |
