American Fork for James A. fi Kelly, 78, of that city, who '"died June 24, 1969 at the American Am-erican Fork Hospital of a short ill illness. Mr. Kelly was the hus-"I hus-"I band of the former Josephine G. Brinton of this city. J He was born Nov. 9, 1890 in i American Fork, a son of Tho-mas Tho-mas Samuel and Emilyn Adams 'Kelly. He married Bessie Mat-ley Mat-ley Nov. 29, 1912. She died ""jjwov. 2, 1949. He later married "'Mrs. Brinton Nov. 29, 1950 in '' Springville. 3 1 1 S r. Survivors include his widow, American Fork; three sons, James Ordell Kelly, Howard M. Kelly and T. Earl Kelly, all of Salt Lake City; two step-sons and two step-daughters, Mrs. Bill (Helen) Stevenson and Mrs. Harriet Lee Miner, both of Springville; Howard Brinton, Salt Lake City; and Frank O. Brinton, Redwood City, Calif.; 26 grandchildren; 21 greatgrandchildren; great-grandchildren; one brother and one sistei, Samuel T. Kelly and Ida Gardner, both of Provo. The Marine Inspection Office in San Francisco is second in size only to the office in New York. Marine inspectors are Coast Guardsmen responsible for the country's maritime safety saf-ety program. |
