Show Kiwanis Club Plans Birthday Program Tributes To Past Presidents Planned As Special Feature Of Evening's Program ; Directed By Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Anderson A full evening's program is planned for tonight, when the Kiwanis club and their ladies will celebrate die twenty-fourth anniversary an-niversary of the organization of the Sprinsrville club. The program is under direction of Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Anderson, with Mr. Anderson to act as toast-master. toast-master. A special feature of the program will be the tributes to each of the club president who have served the organization of Kiwanis in Springville. Spring-ville. This part of the program will be given by Mrs. Howard Maycock and Mrs. J. W. Grant. Past presidents whose efforts were directed towards accomplishment accomplish-ment of the aims of Kiwanians during the year in which they served, will be mentioned in the order of years in which they held office, as follows: John F. Smith, C. R. Jones, Milan O. Packard, Myron E. Crandall, Jr., John F. Mendenhall, Dr. Nelson Beal, W. Elmo Coffman, Dr. John R. Anderson, Ander-son, M. R. Straw, Ernest E. Knud-sen, Knud-sen, Harold Christensen, C. G. Salisbury, Sal-isbury, J. F. Wingate, Charles Boyer, G. Lowry Anderson, Milton Mil-ton Harrison, F. C. Packard, M. W. Bird, W. W. Clyde, H. T Reynolds, Rey-nolds, Jr, Wra. Witney, E A. Strong, W. W. Brockbank and the present president, J. W. Grant. Special guests on this occasion will be widows of former club members in good standing, together togeth-er with partners of Kiwanis club members. In addition to tributes to past presidents, the program will include in-clude musical numbers, dance numbers and readings. President Grant will be in charge of the formal opening. |
