Show Mrs. Ethel Beebe Aita Ames Is New Jr. Gleaner Pres. The Moon Lake stake Jr. Gleaners held an election party in Mt. Emmons, March 30th. Each ward presented a skit. Al-tonah's Al-tonah's skit was "Just Plain Nonsense," with Sherral Ames, lAlta Ames and Carma Chris-Itensen Chris-Itensen taking part. Mrs. Margaret Mar-garet Maxfield, their teacher, also conducted the skit. Mrs. Maxfield is the stake Jr. Glean-er Glean-er class leader. Alta Ames was elected as president of the stake Jr. Gleaners. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Berrett and daughter, of Rangely, Colo., were weekend visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Allred and other oth-er relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Jessen are the proud parents of an 8 lb. 3 oz. baby girl, born March 27th at 4 a.m. in the Roosevelt Hospital. They arrived home April 2. Two babies were blessed in Sacrament meeting March 28th. The son of Mr. and Mrs. Clinty Ames was given the name of Roger Edward Ames, and the-son the-son of Mr. and Mrs. Glade Timothy Tim-othy was given the name of Raymond James Timothy. Howard Reynolds, of Roosevelt, Roose-velt, was in town on business, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Jessen, daughters Bonnie and Mrs. Minnie Min-nie Lue Stevenson and daughter, daugh-ter, Maxie, spent the weekend in Salt Lake City, where Bonnie Bon-nie and Maxie had a medical check-up. Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Richens are the proud parents of an 8 lb. baby boy, born March 26th in the Roosevelt Hospital. Mrs. Richens before her marriage was Shirley Maxfield. Mother and baby came home, on Wednesday. Wed-nesday. Willis Potter, of Talmage, and Joseph Swasey, of Boneta, were visitors at Sunday School and Sacrament meeting, Sunday. Sun-day. A number from Altonah attended at-tended the reception and dance for Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Jenkins, Jen-kins, (Lorraine Dastrup) in the Mt. Emmons ward hall, Saturday Satur-day night, March 27th. Billie Jessen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dick Jessen, of Boneta, spent from Sunday until Wednesday Wed-nesday with his uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Glade Timothy, while his parents were in Salt Lake City. i Louis Reese, manager of the Moon Lake Electric Ass'n., spent a week in Rangely, Colo., ' on business. |
