Show April 4th Chosen As Wedding Day For Piss Roberts April fourth has been selected select-ed by Miss JoAnne Roberts, daughter of Mrs. Kelly Redmond, Red-mond, of Roosevelt, and Robert Hicks, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Ar-thur Hicks, of Salt Lake City, for their wedding which will take place in the Centenary Methodist church in Salt Lake City. The Reverend N. Robert DeLancy will officiate at the 2:00 o'clock ceremony. The young couple will be honored at a reception that evening eve-ning from 7 until 9 o'clock, which will be held in the Sego Room of the Temple Square Hotel. Miss Roberts graduated from Roosevelt High School in the spring of 1950. She reigned as Roosevelt's Sweetheart Queen in 1949, and was a delegate to Girls' State ip the summer of '49; was student body secretary at Roosevelt High in 1950 and held various other club offices. At present, Miss Roberts is in nurses' training at the St. Marks hospital in Salt Lake City, and will graduate in September. Sep-tember. Last fall Miss Roberts received a special scholarship given by the hospital M. D.s and board for efficiency, patience, pa-tience, training, etc. Mr. Hicks is a veteran of World War II and graduated from the University of Utah, where he majored in Political Science. ., . ' .
