Show The J. II. Harrisons Observe Golden Wedding Anniversary Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Harrison will observe their fiftieth wedding anniversary an-niversary Dec. 24, and to celebrate the occasion will be honored at an open house Sunday, Dec. 16, at the home of Mrs. Erma Labrum. Friends and relatives are invited to call between the hours of 2:00 and. 5:00 p.m. on this date to offer congratulations to the couple. Mr. Harrison was born in Mona, Juab County, April 8, 1886, a son of John and Margaret Vest Harrison. Har-rison. Mrs. Harrison was born Aug. 6, 1889, a daughter of Thomas G. and Susann Gaugh Labrum. The couple recited marriage vows at Deep Creek, Uintah County, at the home of the bride's mother. In 1907 they moved to the reservation, reser-vation, settling about six miles northeast of Roosevelt. Here they farmed for two years, and then moved to Mr. Harrison's fathers home on Deep Creek, where they farmed for two more years. They later resided in Lapoint, where they leased a farm for several years. In 1913 the couple moved to Roosevelt and operated a ranch for Harden Bennion, secretary of state at the time. They later moved into the town of Roosevelt where . t'hey have since resided, with the exception of one year which they spent in Tremonton raising beets. The Harrisons are the parents of four children a son Everett Harrison, Roosevelt; Mrs. Thelma Roberts, Lehi; Mrs. Berriice Wingo, Salt Lake City; and Mrs. Edith Curtis, Norfolk, Virginia. They have ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Another open house will honor the couple in observance of their Golden Wedding anniversary Dec. 23, at the I. W.
