Show SOCIETY 4 Dorothy Beeler, Reporter t BIGELOW - SIMMONS NUPTIALS 1 One of the loveliest of the late summer .weddings was that of Miss Twilla Rae Bigelow, daughter ?of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Ray-mond Bigelow, of Lapoint, and Gene E. ; Simmons, son of NMr. and Mrs. Edward Simmons, of Tridell. The ceremony was performed per-formed Monday evening, Aug. 25, in the beautifully decorated garden of the Bigelow home, with Bishop L. J. Walker officiating. offi-ciating. The wedding march was played by Miss Shirley Huber. Miss Bigelow chose as her bridal attire a lovely dress of blue, and wore a knee-length veil. She carried a bouquet of I gladioli and roses. She was attended at-tended by Beula Taylor, as maid of honor.--' Helen Bigelow and Lynn Wilkins were the flower girls. 'J'" Gene Nyberg acted as best man. Following the ceremony, a dainty wedding supper was served to" the bridal party. Ila Kump, Verenna Simmons, Joyce Bigelow and Betty Bigelow assisted as-sisted with the serving. 1 NEIGHBORHOOD SEWING Neighborhood Sewing club ! members enjoyed the hospitality hospital-ity of Mrs. Guy Burton last Wednesday evening. A tempting salad course luncheon was served with covers laid for eight, including Mrs. Howard Andrews, Mrs, Louis Laris, Mrs. Llewellyn Jenkins, Mrs. Joseph Rawlings, Mrs. Parley Par-ley Rawlings, Mrs. Neldon Ny-jberg Ny-jberg and Mrs. Clifton Laris. |
