Show F unerafs MARY HARRIS DENVER Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Harris Denver, 53, who died Friday in Phoenix, Ariz., were conducted Wednesday in the Ballard Ward chapel by Bishop Golden Collins. Mrs. Denver was born at Ft. Duchesne, Aug. 21, 1896 a daughter of Henry and Mary Harris. She was married to Elmer El-mer Denver in Vernal, Aug. 14, 1911. At the time of her death she was president of the Uintah County Marine Mothers. She is survived by her husband hus-band and her mother, Ft. Duchesne; Du-chesne; five sons, Connie Mack Denver, Bishop, Calif.; Milton, Ellis, and Elmer Denver, Jr., Ft Duchesne; Alvin Denver, Mt. Emmons; six daughters, Mrs. LaRena Iorg, Altonah; Mrs. Edith Oberhansley, H a y d e n; Mrs. Lena Sixkiller, Mrs. Flor-) ence Reid, Mrs. Ada LaBeau, and Miss Pauline Denver, Ft. Duchesne; four brothers, John Harris, Ft. Washakie, Wyo.; Muse Henry, and Clarence Harris, Sr., Ft. Duchesne; three sisters, Mrs. Delia Curry, Neola; Mrs. Ada Zufelt, Ft. Duchesne; and Mrs. Lula Murdock, Whiterocks; and 35 grandchildren. BRIGHAM TIMOTHY ALTONAH Funeral services for Brigham Timothy, 91, of Altonah, who died Friday, June 30, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Jerry Clark, of causes incident in-cident to age, were held Sunday in the Altonah ward chapel, Bishop Lester D. Maxfield officiating. of-ficiating. Interment was in' the Altonah cemetery. Mr. Timothy was born June 21, 1895, in Stanley Carmar-than, Carmar-than, Wales, a son of John G. and Martha Davis Timothy. The family moved to the United Unit-ed States in 1862, when Mr. Timothy was three years old, and settled in Salt Lake City, later moving to Heber, Walls-burg, Walls-burg, and in 1886 to Vernal, where Mr. Timothy lived until 1908. He then moved to Altonah, where he was residing at the time of his death. He married Mary Hannah Sa-bey, Sa-bey, Nov. 20, 1885 in Lehi, and their endowments were later solemnized sol-emnized in the Manti LDS temple. tem-ple. M.rs. Sabey died April 3, 1935. A farmer, stockman, and blacksmith, Mr. Timothy was one of the first settlers in the Altonah area. r Survivors include five sons: James and Charley Timothy, Altonah; Al-tonah; Heber Timothy, Mt. Emmons; Em-mons; Sabe Timothy, Roosevelt; nH Von Timothv. Bonanza: two daughters: Mrs. Eliza Clark, Altonah, Al-tonah, and Mrs. Lottie Allen, Price; a sister, Miss Ella. Timothy, Tim-othy, American Fork; 30 grandchildren, grand-children, 41 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren. |
