Show Mrs. Ethel Beebe Celebrates 76th Birthday Feb. 15 Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Bowden and daughters, Joy and Cuba, of Gusher; Lionel Bowden, of Myton; ' Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Bowden and family, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Burgess and Mr. and Mrs. Kelly Riley and Louise Bowden gathered at the home of Mrs. Mary Bowden, Feb. 15, to celebrate her 76th birthday. A delicious dinner was enjoyed by those present. Mr. and Mrs. Hardy Perkins and Mrs. Dallas Arnes visited in Salt Lake City over the weekend. week-end. Mr. and Mrs. Nick Tallerico and daughter, Mary Lu, of Sun-nyside Sun-nyside recently visited with Mr. and Mrs. Fenton Powell. They went on to' Vernal to visit Mrs. Tallerico's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Clark, who had been in the hospital for several days. Mr. and Mrs. Leon Dump made a recent trip to Salt Lake City. Ted Snyder, of Tooele, spent the weekend with relatives. His mother, Mrs. Elva Snyder, returned re-turned to Salt Lake City with him Sunday to visit and receive medical care. Some time ago she fell and broke several ribs. Mrs. Junior Potts will take care of the post cifics in her absence. Mr. and Mrs. Arvil Stone and family, of Duchesne, spent Saturday Sat-urday visiting with Mrs. Stone's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Smith. Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Beebe and Albert Clark attended the funeral of their uncle, Myron Roberts, at Vernal recently. Mr. and Mrs. Dick Smith and son, Rick E., of Salt Lake City, spent last week with Mr. and Mrs. Ty Kolb. VALENTINE DANCE ' The American Legion and Auxiliary gave a Valentine dance in the Legion hall, Feb. 14. Tickets were sold on a beautiful beau-tiful satin bedspread with Mrs. Ruby McMillan, of Boneta, the winner. Altamont High School orchestra furnished the music. Bishop and Mrs. J. Arthur Timothy took his father, Jim Timothy, to Price recently to visit his sister and brother-in- law, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Allen. Mrs. Bennie Mitchell attended attend-ed a quilting at the home of Mrs. Hugo Mitchell in Upalco", Monday. Howard Horrocks, of Neola, was at the Gilbert Beebe ranch Tuesday and purchased a registered regis-tered Aberdeen Aneus bull. FIRST GRANDCHILD Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Weeks received word of the birth of a new grandson, born Feb. 7th to Mr. and Mrs. James Weeks, of Garfield. This is the Weeks' first grandchild. Lawrence Weeks is home for several days from his work in Myton. He broke his finger and was unable to work. Gene Weeks, of Salt Lake City, visfted his uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Weeks during the week. |
