Show Ballard Ellen Bracken The M.I. A. held a dance in the chapel Monday evening, P'ebruary 26. A pot luck supper was also enjoyed. Mr. and Mrs. Max Gardner, of Roosevelt, visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Elton Kettle one evening last week, and at the S. B. Kettle home on Sunday. Sun-day. Mrs. Juli Kettle and Millie Hatch, of Ballard; Mrs. Mary Young, of Avalon; Mrs. Cordelia Cor-delia Francis and Thea Bodily, of Lapoint; Mrs. Ora Coston, Mrs. Mae Warburton, and Mrs. Ellen Bracken, of Alterra, met with Mrs. Lola Christensen, of Vernal, at Alterra, Wednesday afternoon to plan menus for the school lunches during March. Mrs. Angus Anderson was a patient at the Roosevelt hospital for three days last week. Mr. and Mrs. Elbert Smith, of Whiterocks, called at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Parrish, Saturday. The following babies received names, last Sunday at fast meeting: meet-ing: the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Lundberg was given giv-en the name Marie; the daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Larsen was named Becky Marie; Ma-rie; the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Brighton was named Bruce L. |
