Show FUNERAL SERVICES HELD FOR MRS. DORTHEA FARQUHARSON Funeral services for Mrs. Dorthea Watkins Farquharson were held Monday afternoon, June 3, at 2 o'clock p. m. under the direction of Counselor Earl M. Devey. The opening open-ing song was a duet by Marley Steele and Mrs. Ora Chipman of American Fork. The invocation was offered by J. .C.Beck. A biographical sketch was read by Bernell Watkins, a grandson of the deceased. The speakers were Thomas F. Carlisle, President Clifford Young, President S. L. Chipman, James Smith and Bishop Burgess. Interspercing the speakers' remarks, re-marks, special musical numbers were given as follows: a duet, Marley Steele and Ora Chipman of American Ameri-can Fork! a solo "I'm A Pilgrim," Mrs. Edith Evans of Lehi; a solo "That's What God Made Mothers For" by Ray Shelley of American Fork. The closing number was a duet, "My Jesus As Thou Wilt" by Inez Burgess and Velma Devey. The benedction was pronounced by Don C. Strong and the grave in the Alpine cemetery was dedicated by Monte Chaney, a grandson. The floral offerings were many and were very beautiful. Many out-of-town relatives and friends were present. |
