Show Mrs. Jane Forbes Dies In Heber: Funeral Services Here Sunday Mrs. Jane Gardner Forbes, wife of the late Joseph B. Forbes, died Thursday morning, June 6, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Don Clyde, at Heber City. She was born at American Fork, Utah, June 15, 1859, the daughter of James Gardner and Mary Jane Tred-phal Tred-phal Gardner. Her early life was spent in American Fork, where on April 10, 1879, she married Joseph 'B. Forbes, who preceded her in .death two years. To this unjpn were 1 born eleven children, six having died in early life. She has been a faithful worker in the L. D. S. church, having served in the presidency of the Fourth Ward Relief Society and in the T. It. M. I. A. for many years. Ten years ago She moved to Sheljey, Idaho, at which place she resided up until the time of her death. The following children survive her: Mrs. Zlna Friday, American Fork; Mrs. Ida Nielsen, William G. Forbes, Mrs. Lenore Christensen of Shelley, Idaho, and Mrs. Rathryn Clyde of Heber. Fourteen grandchildren, grand-children, one great-grandchild, one sister, Mrs. Ellen Proctor, two broth-ers, broth-ers, William Gardner and James T. Gardner of American Fork, also survive. sur-vive. Funeral services will be held in the Alpine Stake Tabernacle Sunday afternoon, June 9, at 2 p. m., under the direction of the Fourth ward bishopric. Interment will be in American Fork. o |
