Show VJ Adamson-Brown Wedding Reception Pretty Affair Charming in every detail was the informal reception given Thursday evening in the Alpine Stake Tabernacle Taber-nacle amusement hall by Mr. and Mrs. L. A. Adamson in honor of the marriage of their daughter, Lorraine, and Robert J. Brown, son of Mrs. R. J. Brown of Spanish Fork, which took place the previous morning in Ue Salt Lake temple. A color .scheme of apricot and white prevailed in the decorations and also in the refreshment menu. A luxurious living room suite, lighted lamps and fall flowers made a pretty setting for the young couple and their parents, who retired there after receiving the guests. The guests were met at the door by Mr. and Mrs. L. A. Adamson, parents par-ents of the bride, Mrs. R. J. Brown, the groom's mother, and the usw'y married pair. The young bride mads a lovely picture in a semi-formal princess fitting gown in the new dahlia shade. An interesting and entertaining program was given early in the evening even-ing which consisted of the following Joyed dancing to the Americans for oyed dancing to the Americans for the remainder of the reception; song numbers, "Tabby and Bun;" tap lance number, Louise Firmage and Betty Halstrom; violin duet, Miss Ann Clayson and Leland Priday; ballet dance solo, Mifis Naomi Holiday; Holi-day; vocal solo, Ray Shelley, reading, Mrs. Helen Heiselt; vocal solo, Dorothy Adamson. Miss Cleo Bate and Miss Mildred Dunkley had charge of the gift mum, .and the following ladies supervised j the refreshments: Mrs. Jarvis Ayde-lotte, Ayde-lotte, Mrs. Thomas Coddington, .Mrs.' Lawrence Briggs, Mrs. Lillie Wilde and Mrs. T. A. Greenwood. In addition to the American Fork guei-its, many from Frovo. Payson, Spanish Fork, Lehi and Midvale were in attendance. The young couple will make their home in Spanish Fork for the present. |
