Show Pioneer Delta Matron Dies After Lingering Illness DELTA Mrs. C. Usslear Johnson John-son Stephenson, 66, wife of Anthony Anth-ony E. Stephenson, died Friday at her home in Delta following a lingering lin-gering illness. She was born in Holden, Feb. 12, 1879, a daughter of Willard R. and Sarah C. Johnson. She was married mar-ried to Mr. Stephenson, April 12, 1900, in Manti LDS temple. She resided in Holden until 1909 when she moved with her husband to Delta. Serving many years as president pre-sident of the Delta Relief society she was an active LDS church member. She was also a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. Survivors include her husband, the following sons and daughters: Mrs. Ellen Siggard and Mrs. Ina Larsen, Brigham City; Anthony W. Stephenson, Cedar City; Mrs. Ruth Bishop, Delta, and Sgt. Willard Stephenson, with the U.S. army in England; nine sisters and brothers, Willard R. Johnson, Aurora. Benjamin Benja-min J. Johnson, Manti; Burt F. Johnson, Sandy; Wilford and Grant Johnson, Holden; Mrs. Jennie Hen-drickson, Hen-drickson, Santaquin; Mrs. Myrtle Huntsman, Fillmore; Mrs. Ida Was-den, Was-den, Scipio, and Mrs. Lilly Wood, Delta. Funeral services were conducted conduct-ed Monday at 2 p.m. in the Delta Second LDS ward chapel by Warren War-ren Henderson, bishop, and burial was held in Delta. The services were conducted by Bishop Warren Henderseon and the program was as follows: Trio, Hold Thou My Hand, By Louie Black and daughter, Peggy, accompanied accom-panied by Dorothy Henderson. Prayer, David Terry. Violin solo, Norma Hannifin, accompanied ac-companied by Nina Henrie. Remarks, Mrs. Grace Warnick, who toid of the life and school days of Mrs. Stephenson. Duet, Going Home, by Irene Lovell and Mavis Johnson, accompanied by Neva Johnson. Speaker, Leo Lyman. Solo, I Know that My Redeemer Liveth, by Ward Moody, accompanied accom-panied by Nina Henrie. Speaker, Mrs. Adrean, who told of the faithfulness of Mrs. Stephenson Stephen-son and of her kindness and consideration con-sideration of everyone. Xylophone solo, Ora Mae Bishop, accompanied by Glenna Stucki. Remarks, Bishop Henderson. Ladies double trio. Peace I Leave with You, by a Holden group. Prayer, Herman Stucki.
