Show COMMUNITY CLUB TO HAVE SPEAKERS AT OPEN HOUSE MEETING In addition to electing C. G. Haskell delegate to represent Beaver County at the convention of the Utah Poultry Producers' Cooperative association to lie held in Salt Lake City between January 1!) and 21, the members of the South Milford Poultry Association made plans at their meeting last Sunday Sun-day for an open house to be held at the club house at 2 p. m. January 25. 1 he association voted to invite all interested in poultry in Beaver County Coun-ty to attend the open house and to hear the speakers that will be chosen from Beaver, Adamsville, Minersville and Milford pumping district who will discuss various phases of the poultry industry. At this meeting a report will be made by the delegate to the annual convention of the Utah Poultry Poul-try Producers Association. Election Postponed Also, the election of officers, postponed post-poned at last Sunday's meeting will be held at the open house meeting of January 25, and a census of the poultry poul-try of the county which will be prepared pre-pared between now and the meeting will be presented. At last Sunday's meeting, the busi- ness of electing the delegate disposed of, the members adopted new constitution consti-tution and by-laws along the lines suggested by the Utah Poultry Pro-, Pro-, ducers' Association so as to facilitate - the affiliation of the local association with the' state organization, and through the state organization to become be-come members of the North West Turkey Growers Association. Committee Appointed A committee was appointed to arrange ar-range the program for the open house on January 25 and to select the speakers. speak-ers. This committee is made up of Mrs. Harold Sauter and Mrs. C. G. Haskell, president of the organization. The open house will be conducted both from the point of view of bringing bring-ing together the poultry men of the county, creating a feeling of fellowship fellow-ship and co-operation among them and of making an opportunity of getting get-ting instructive data on poultry growing grow-ing problems through the speakers. |
