Show Mrs. Ami Challis Dead at Franklin FRANKLIN, Idaho, Feb. lO.-Mrs. Anna Challis, wife of Jas. A. D. Chains Chai-ns of Franklin, died on Saturday, February Feb-ruary 8, 1908, of stomach cancer. Mrs. Challis went to the L. D. S. hospital in June, 1007, and underwent an operation, oper-ation, which gave her temporary relief, re-lief, but for the past three months she suffered a great deal, from the cause which finally ended In her death. She was born February 0, 1850, a Dunstan, England; became a member of the L. D. S. church In 1878, and emigrated to Franklin. Idaho, in 1882, where the family has resided ever since. During her sojourn there she was a very energetic and faithful worker and will bo very much missed in tho community. Sister Challis has been president of tho Y. L. M, I. association as-sociation a number of years, and president presi-dent of tho Relief Society of Franklin for tho past ten years, which position she held up to the time of her death. Brother Challis and his family have the sympathy ot tho entire community commun-ity In their sad bereavement. The funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 13, at 1:30 o'clock. |
