Show Major claimed by Casey in nuptial rites Miss Kathleen Major be-cara? be-cara? the bride of John Richard Rich-ard Casey in a candlelight cer-emony cer-emony November 25. The Enchanted En-chanted Gardens was the setting set-ting for ths single ring ceremony cere-mony and the reception which followed. Bishop Francis Bet-en Bet-en "en officiated. Te bride was given away by h.?r brother, Michael R. Major. At the wedding Bert Carpenter, Carpen-ter, accompanied by Mrs. Milton Mil-ton Hyatt sang "I Lcbe You Truly" and "God Gave Me You". Parents of the newlyweds are Mrs. Florine H. Major, 439 So. 700 W. and Mrs. Ella Vera Casey, 1219 Arapahoe Ave., Sa'it Lake City. The bride wor.? a gown of Ivory lace over satin featuring leg-of imutton sleeves buttoned button-ed from the elbow with satin covered buttons. The fingertip veil fell from an ivory lace headpiece and she carried a bouquet of orchids, white carnations car-nations and baby breath. Attending the bride as maid of honor was her sister, Miss Sharon Major in blue velvet. Bridesmaids, Mrs. Scott (Kathy) Nelson, Mrs. Gordon (Carolyn) Paxman, Mrs. Robert Rob-ert (Susan) Swan, and Mrs. Kevin (Janna) Svarczkopf, wore purple velvet. They all carried old fashioned nosegays nose-gays in pinks, purples and white with lavsndar and white streamers. Best man was Randy Soren-son Soren-son of Salt Lake and the ushering was done by Dane Ronnow, Michael R. Major. Patrick Major, Gordon Pax-man, Pax-man, and Thomas Leigh. Ring bearer was Brian Casey. Presiding at the guest book was Mrs. Gordon (Joan) Spainhower and Misses Kris Leigh, Marie Leigh and Sharon Shar-on Chatwin were in the gift roam. Mr. and Mrs. Richard H. Leigh acted as host and hostess host-ess for the reception, and Mr. Ross Glass furnished the organ or-gan music. The refreshments were served serv-ed by Misses Marsha Leigh, Lisa Litt'e, Corine Cowley, Nancy Barton, Krista Higbee, and Colleen Thorley. Mrs. Major wore a long red velvet dress and Mrs. Casey wore a long blue crepe. Both mothers wore orchid corsages. cor-sages. The bride chose a blue knit going away costume and after honeymooning in Las Vegas they went to Green River, Wyoming where Mr. Casey is employed. Tha bride is a graduate of Cedar High School. She has attended Southern Utah State College and Church College of Hawaii. She was employed by a Law Firm in Salt Lake City.
