Show I Colletto Thomas and Randy Cowan recite j marriage vows in Salt Lake LDS temple A double ring ceremony I . solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on March 7 united Miss Col let te Thomas, Span-ish Span-ish Fork and Handy Cowan, Cedar City. Elder Joel Rich- ards officiated. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Thom as, Spanish Fork; and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Airs, Max G. Cowan. Tile newlyweds were feted at a reception at the Spanish Fork First Ward Church on the evening of March 7. The bride wore a floor length gown of silk organza with heavy , applique on the oomce. u ieaiured empire lines with a stand-away collar col-lar and full train falling from the waist. The shoulder length veil was attached to a satin bow. She carried a bouquet of red roses and pink carnations. Miss Tamara Thomas attended at-tended her sister as Maid of Honor. Tlie bridesmaids were Mrs. Wayne Thomas, Miss Lana Creer, Miss Diane Ludlow, Lud-low, and Miss Wendy Cowan, sister of the bridegroom. Junior Jun-ior bridesmaids were sisters of the bride, Misses Shannon and Jan Thomas. The attendants attend-ants wore pink crepe floor length dresses and each carried car-ried a single stemmed red rose. Danny Cowan, brother of the bridegroom was best man, and the bride's brothers, Lane and Blake Thomas ushered. Both Mrs. Thomas and Mrs. Cowan wore floor length dresses dres-ses of cranberry crepe accented with corsages of red rose and pink carnations. The bride's going away costume cos-tume was a two piece suit of red, white, and navy blue. An Open House further honored hon-ored the young couple at the CSU Family Living Center on March 15. It was hosted by the bridegroom's parents. Mr. and Mrs. Klien Rollo presided at the guest book; and Jeff Cowan and Marshall and Gordon Topham helped the other ushers. The bride is a graduate of Spanish Fork High School and attended CSU where she was affiliated with Chi Sigma Upsilon. Up-silon. She is now employed at Bradshaw Chevrolet Co. The bridegroom graduated from Cedar High School and is presently a junior at CSU where he is majoring in Physical Phys-ical Education. He is employed by Utah Parks. Pre-nuptial courtesies include in-clude showers given for the bride by Mrs. Wayne Thomas and Stephanie Vance and some of her aunts. |
