Crabtree Claims Judith Hollingshead in Nuptial Event .United in marriage Friday, August 11, in a double-ring ceremony, were Miss Judith Ann Hollingshead and John A. (Jack) Crabtree. Officiating during the ceremony which took place at the Evergreen Wedding Manor, in Salt, Lake City was an uncle" of the bridegroom, Orrin W. Morten-sen. Morten-sen. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Hollingshead, Hollings-head, Salt Lake City. Her bridegroom is a son of Mrs. John E. Crabtree, Cedar City. Parents, sister, brothers-in-law, other relatives and close firends witnessed the nuptial rites. The newlyweds traveled to Cedar City last weekend and were honored at an open house Saturday, August 19, given by Mrs. John E. Crabtree Crab-tree at the Richard Messer home, 217 North Highland Drive on their backyard patio. The bride's parents traveled to Cedar City to attend the open house. Serving were sisters of the bride and bridegroom, Wendy and Glenna Crabtree, and Marie Hollingshead. Kitchen hostesses were Rea Carter, Reta Anderson, Edna Sargent, Lottie Dutson, Marian Esplin and Marie Cony, Scott Messer was gift bearer. Jack's aunts, Mrs. Glen E. Mortensen and Mrs. Orrin W. Mortensen, gave a kitchen shower for Judy on July 19 in Salt Lake City. |
