Show Institute Is Scene Of Sandberg, Davenport Wedding Making a home in St. George after a honeymoon trip to Las Vegas, Nev., are newlyweds Mr. and Mrs. Cyril J. Davenport. The bride, the former Miss Avon' Sandberg, and her bridegroom exchanged nuptial vows Nov. 20 at the L D S Institute of Re!i;-Ion, Re!i;-Ion, with Bishop Joseph Fillerup officiating. i The bride is the daughter of' Mr. and Mrs. Joseph C. Sandberg. Tarents of the benedict are Mr. and Mrs. Arlo Davenport of St.' George. j The young couple were honored at a reception following the rites. Attending the bride were Miss Barbara Webb as maid of honor, and Miss Walloon Limb as bridesmaid. Elma Lynn and Col. leen Sandberg, nieces of the bride, were flower girls. Erwln Davenport, brother of the bridegroom, stood as best man. James Sandberg acted as usher. For her wedding and reception the bride wore a ballerina length gown of silver net over pale blue satin. She carried a bouquet of chrysanthemums and carnations. Assisting In the gift room were Marie Memmott, Mrs. Vera I!u-hanan, I!u-hanan, Mrs. Graydon Stone and Mrs. Samuel Knight. I : f ' " : MRS. Thanks giving dinner was enjoyed at the home of Mrs. Plummer's sister and family, the Lowell W. Ridges of Ogden. Joining them were her mother, Mrs. A. E. Taylor, and a1 brother, Gordon Taylor. A very pleasant trip and visit was en-Joyed. |
