Show Church Ceremony Unites Couple At Parowan Ward Cleo Jean Mortenson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Mortenson, Parowan, gave her hand In marriage mar-riage to Leo K. Smith, son of Mr. and Mrs. Moroni It Smith, Cedar City, in the Parowan West Ward chapel, Monday, August 2. Bishop Bis-hop Leonard Evans performed the ceremony In the presence of the Immediate families of both the bride and the groom. The bride wore white satin wedding dress and carried a bridal bri-dal boquet. She was attended by Norcne Johnson as Maid of Honor Hon-or and Dorthea Bayles as bride's maid. Best man for the groom was Max Barton. The bride is a graduate of Parowan Par-owan high school and was employed em-ployed in Parowan prior to her marriage. The groom served in the U. S. Navy during the recent World War for 31 months, most of which was in the Pacific Theatre of operation. The young couple will make their home in Cedar City, where Mr. Smith is engaged in the Umbering business with his father fa-ther in the nearby mountains. A largely attended wedding reception re-ception held in the Parowan West Ward chapel following the ceremony was featured by a very enjoyable program |
