Show Married In Texas Mrs. Nubble S. Mace of K.inab announces the marriage of her daughter, Harriet, to Lieut. i.ant Don Gub'.er of La Verkln, wl.o is' stationed at Odesra, Texas. The' marriage ceremony was prfo;m,,J by Dr. B. R. Milter of Moiull.ms. Texas, on Saturday, Januaiy 2.'U at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. It. Jackson in Odessa. Friends from Salt Lake City, Detroit, Michigan, and Riverside, California, were In attendance. The bride wore a gown of white taffeta with sweeping train and a corsuge of Gadeniaa adorned here shoulder. A half veil was worn in her hair. She was a graduate of Kanab high school and spent two years In the LDS Western State Mission. Lt. Gubler is a graduate of the Dixie college. He was a missionary to Germany for three yean before the war and has served eighteen months In combat as a bombardeer In the European theatre of war. receiving several citations since entering en-tering the service. Mrs. Gubler was employed for a year as Cedar City as an operator for the Telephone Comany and at the time of her marriage was employed em-ployed at the Bank of Southern. The couple will reside in Texas while Le. Gubler is stationed there. |
