Show Parowan Man Dies Of Heart Ailment Funeral srrvlces were held In Parowan Friday afternoon for Frederick Fred-erick Veltaz Evans, 73. life-long resident res-ident of Parowan who died at his heme May 29th., from on illness of heart trouble and complications. He had been In poor health for several I years, but had not been confined' to his bed until a few wreks ago. Mr. Evans was born In Parowan on April 16, 1872, a son of Jenken Abrams and Sarah Anno Norrls Evans, early southern Utah settlers He had lived ln Parowan all his life, working as a freighter after finishing school, but engaged in farming in later years. Surviving re the following daughters: daugh-ters: Mrs. Thelma E. Clark. Cedar City; Mrs. Hel n Selgfus, San Francisco; Fran-cisco; Mrs. Olive E. Jaenlsch, North Hollywood; Mrs Pauline E. Kennedy. Ken-nedy. Olendale, California: and Miss Carol Evans of Parowan. Also surviving sur-viving are cne brother and three sisters, John A. Evans, and Mrs. Cella Page, Parowan. Mrs. W. II. Chipman, and Mrs. Sadie Zabrlske Salt Lake City. |
