Show t HELENA : (Correspondence Intermountain Catholic.) Helena, Jan. 8. Father Day, who has suffered severely from hemorrhages of j the head during the past week, is now out of danger. At one time, death i seemed so imminent that extreme unc- j tion was administered. As soon as his condition will permit Father Day will take a trip south. .- The mission by Fathers Hopper and 3IcCorry is being generously attended. The devotional spirit is contagious and thanks to the energy of the Rev. missionaries, mis-sionaries, promises to 'become an epidemic epi-demic e'er the mission closes. Father O'Brien departed Tuesday last on a recuperating trip to Las Vegas, Ve-gas, N. 31. On 3Ionday he received ! the documents appointing him pastor at Livingston during the absence of Father Pirnat. Father Aiken of Philippsburg is -at I present assisting Fathers Holtman and O'Farrel at the cathedral. He will probably remain during the absence of Father Day. , The magnificent altar set presented by 3Irs. T. H. Carter to the Sisters of St. Joseph's Home, was sent to Salt Lake during the week to be bleeeed by Rt. Rev. Bishop ScanJan. |
