Woodward, surveyor of the port of San Francisco, died at his homo near Santa Ro.su lat evening. lie had been suffering lor some months of Bright's disease and nervous troubles. troub-les. I Mr. Wood w aid organized the Union Triwi Savings bank ot Santa Rosa .some years ago and was president of the bank till bis death. His w Li-ow Li-ow Is a daughter of the Rev. Walte Frear of Oakland.
