Dalton retires from Meadow Gold Parowan native retires from Meadow Gold dairy Casper, Wyo. William M. Dfalton, manager of the Meadow Mea-dow Gold Dairies division of Beatrice Foods Co. in Casper, . Wyo., has announced his retirement re-tirement effective June , 1972. Dalton has been with Meadow Mea-dow Gold and a predecessor for 27 years. A lifelong dairy-man, dairy-man, he has made many contributions con-tributions to the industry, his community and the company. A graduate of the Parowan High School, he attended Col- lege of Southern Utah, Cedar ' City, where he majored in agriculture and economics. He served as chief deputv sher-iff, sher-iff, then acting sheriff of Iron County, and as assistant chief security officer at Hill Air Force Base, Hill Field, Utah. On June 1, 1945, he joined Arden Sunfreeze Creameries, Ogden, Utah, as a wholesale route salesman. Eighteen years later he was promoted to sales manager of the Ogden Og-den branch. In 1954, a year after Cream-eries Cream-eries of America, of which Ar-der Ar-der Sunfreeze was a member, joined Beatrice Foods, Dalton was promoted to manager of the Casper plant, and since then has been a steady build-f build-f operations here. He is a past board member of the Casper Chamber of Commerce and served as a board member mem-ber and secretary treasurer of the Wyoming Dairy Council. He is also a member of the Wyoming Dairy Association. |
