Parowan Chamber sets up tourist booth on city park Parowan Chamber of Commerce Com-merce board member Mel Eyre pictured above, along with Chamber President Ron Smith, are happy to announce the opening of the tourist information infor-mation booth, located on the city park. Eyre would like to thank those who contributed their time and talents toward making mak-ing the booth possible. The booth will be manned on a voluntary basis. Those people of the city who are familinr with th various points of interest that surround sur-round the community and would like to share in this civic project, please contact Mr. Eyre, then he can draw up a schedule where you can fit in at the booth. Eyre says, "We are interested inter-ested in exhibiting as many authentic Parowan items of interest as we possibly can, so if anyone has an item which we feel may be of interest in-terest to tourists, please contact con-tact us to make arrangements. These things will show what we have in our vicinity that have tourist value, and we can direct the visitors to the place where they can be found. Mr. Smith states that the next scheduled meeting of the Chamber will be Thursday evening, June 18 at 8. Please make plans to attend. |
