It is unlawful for anyone to harm, possess, capture, or hold in captivity, or sell any gila monster or desert tortise. An example of a large gila monster sometimes called a beaded lizard is shown in the photograph. Already this spring an individual in-dividual , in Cedar City was found in possession of a gila monster. Anyone encountering wildlife wild-life including gila monsters and desert tortises should leave them in their natural habitat and help ' protect our wildlife heritage. |
