City elections and primaries for county elections were held Monday and Tuesday at the 26th annual Girls State now in session at Southern Utah State College. Iron County girls winning offices in city elections and placed on the ballot for county coun-ty elections were Janet Jolley, elected commissioner of Lee City; Debra White, senator for Mabey City, and Sharla Fiack, senator for Territory Young. All are from Cedar City. From Parowan, Jane Dillon was elected representative of Blood City and Mary Jane Halterman will represent Culler Cul-ler City. Leslie Decker will compete for the position of recorder, for Freedom County on the Federalists Party.
