Show BETTER TIMES PREDICTED i Mining Operator Sees No Reason For Panicky Attitude At-titude Toward Industry. Non-ferrous mining will continue to flourish in Utah and. the west and out of the present depression will come a stabilized condition and increased prosperity. This is the opinion of Charles Moore, president and general manager man-ager of the Mayflour Mines, Park Galena and other companies operating operat-ing in Utah, Nevada, California and Mexico. "Mining has had 15 or 20 years of prosperity," said Mr. Moore "and if the industry cannot stand one off year, we are indeed in a bad way. As much as any one I would like to see times better. But there is no use howling and giving up all holds. The country is not going to the dogs. Every so often we have these periods of depresion, when we have to pay for our good times by saving and working harder. We have hit the bottom now and are climbing out the trough. Soon we shall have a decidedly better feeling all around. "Every so often, a depression hits the country and every one thinks that the country is going to the dogs. The present time is no exception. excep-tion. We are in the midst of a period per-iod of readjustment and must learn to readjust our ideas to a lower level of costs and new level of profits. The man who takes advantage of the present pre-sent bearish condition and gambles on the world's need for metals and the economic security of the nation by buying good mining stocks, will be richly rewarded for his faith."
