Show MINERSVILLE Nelda Eyre is confined to her home on account of illness. James Banks, a long time resident of Minersville, passed away at his home Monday morning at 9 o'clock after af-ter a Jong illness. Miss Wilmo Croft left Sunday for an extended visit in Salt Lake with relatives. Rozella Eyre and Lucy Osborne entertained en-tertained Sunday afternoon at the Osborne Os-borne home in honor of their mother Mrs. Elvira Murdoek's birthday anniversary. anni-versary. Many of Mrs. Murdoek's friends were present to help her celebrate cele-brate the occasion. At 5 o'clock a delicious luncheon was served by the hostess assisted by their daughters Therma Eyre and Clysla Osborne. Mr. and Mrs. Hayward Carter and sons Rex and Max spent the first of the week at Puffers Lake. E. Fouts and Horace Palmer were transacting business in town Monday. Miss Pauline Mathews was operated on for appendicitis Monday at the Milford hospital. " Mr. and Mrs. Victor Myers are re- celving congratulations on the arrival of a baby boy born Sunday the 29th. Miss Vie Carter and Fred Watts of Kanosh were married Monday 23rd at Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Hall had as her guests the past week Mrs. Josephine Whitehead and Mr .and Mrs. William Thompson and family of Salt Lake. J |
