Show SWIMMING POOL TO BE FINISHED IN A FEW DAYS Rules and Regulations Drafted Governing Operations of Pool The municipal swimming pool will be finished and open to the public in a few days. The work has been rushed rush-ed in order that the public might have the advantage of the pool during the summer days. The cost of construction has far exceeded ex-ceeded the original estimate, notwithstanding notwith-standing the numerous donations of labor and materials, and the Lions Club is still several hundred dollars behind the actual amount necessary to defray the costs of construction and expenses. The Club has been disappointed dis-appointed in response to public subscriptions, sub-scriptions, and from the amounts subscribed sub-scribed it would seem that the public is not highly enthusiastic over this civic venture. The pool will not be operated for profit and it was not the original intention in-tention to charge more than a mere nominal admittance barely enough to defray the salary of the atendant and the power bill for pumping water, but in view of the small amount subscribed sub-scribed by the public and the outstanding out-standing bills, it has been found necessary nec-essary to mpke the charge usually maintained by pools operated under private ownership, until the indebtedness indebted-ness has been paid. If the pool is patronized to any extent, the income should take care of the unpaid balance within a short time ,and the prices will be then reduced materially. Every precaution is being taken by the local and state boards of health to make the pool strictly sanitary and to keep it in that condition, and it will be guarded strictly and continuously to prevent any contagion. No offensive offen-sive conduct will be tolerated, and children will be closely watched by a tHained attendant in charge at all times. Following are the rules and regula-i regula-i tions adopted by the Lions Club with the consent and cooperation of the Town Board: 1. Any accredited organization may have the use of the swimming pool for swimming parties after the hour of ten o'clock P. M. and until the hour of twelve thirty P.
