Show LOCALS AND PERSONALS C. R. Hodges and family left Wednesday Wed-nesday for Salt Lake City. They will bring back a new Ford Coupe for Wallace Couch. Mr .and Mrs. Ray Goodwin, of Pioohe, were visiting in Milford Tuesday, Tues-day, going from here to Beaver to spend the Fourth. Mrs. L. A. Wynaught returned last week from a few months visit in California. Cali-fornia. Misses Virginia and Peggy Nichols, Nic-hols, of Salt Lake City, are spending their vacation with their dad, Bert Nichols. L. A. Wynaught made a business trip to Salt Lake City last week, reu turning Friday. .Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Ashworth arrived arriv-ed Sunday via motor from Los Angeles, Ange-les, Calif., to visit Mrs. Ashworths parents Mr. and Mrs. Bill Davis, Mrs. Ashworth was formierly Miss LaRue, Davis. Wilbur R. Killam returned home Monday after a three weeks vacation, spent at Seattle Washington. Mrs. Jas. Lang and Mrs. Rue Neil-son Neil-son returned home Friday after a brief visit at Salt Lake City and Pro-vo. Pro-vo. Harold Crawford is down from Lynndyl to spend two weeks vacation with his parents.' Mr. and Mrs. W. 0. Carlson left via auto for the canyons and Kaibab Forest. Stanley Crawford of Caliente, Nev. spent the first of the week with his parents. J. P. Allen, manager of the Allen's Cash Stores, was in Milford Friday from Tooele. While here he made an inventory of the local store. Miss Juanita Miller, of Salt Lake, spent the week-end with her parents Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Miller. Mrs. T. W. Hoke and children left Thursday for a months stay with her mother at Chicago. Marshall Levi and family motored from Salt Lake City and were guests at the Karl Levi home. Mrs. J. E. Francis and children returned re-turned to their home at Caliente after spending a week at the Tom Beard home. Mrs. Harold Carlson has been away from the Why-Not Service Station for the past week, having been confined to her home with an attack of the flu. She is reported to be improving. Mr. and Mrs. D. A. Workman spent a few days at Marysvalei visiting friends. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Beard are the proud parents of a fine big boy born Friday, June the 27th. Mother and baby are doing nicely. The O. A. Melcher and Geo. Litchfield Litch-field families went to Fish Lake on a fishing trip. A. L. Cook, of the Safeway stores, was down from Salt Lake City Sunday Sun-day taking inventory at the local store. n |
