Show SOCIETY Old Friends Club The Old Friends club was delightfully delight-fully entertained at the home of Mrs. Karl Levi. Members present were Mrs. John James, Mrs. Scott Tanner, Mrs. A. Johnson, Mrs. F. R. Levi, Mrs. Pool, Mrs. A. M. Fotheringham, and Mrs. W. O. Carlson. Prizes were awarded to Mrs. Levi, high; Mils. Fotheringham low. A dainty luncheon lunch-eon was served. The hostess was assisted by her daughter Mrs. Frank Stewart. The 50-50 Club Mrs. Chas. E. Moore entertained the Fifty-Fifty club at her home Thursday Thurs-day evening. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Copeland, Mr. and Mrs. Morley, Mor-ley, Mr. and Mrs. Cochrane, Mr. and Mrs. Moore. A. delicious hot dinner was served at 7:30, after which cards were played. Score prize for high, Mr. and Mrs. Copeland; consolation, Mr. and Mrs. Morley. Bridge Club The Saturday night bridge club was entertained at the home of Mrs. Geo. Fernley. Members present Mrs. J. R. Murdock, Mrs. C. C. Sloan, Mrs. Rue Ncilson, Mrs. Merrill Miller, Mrs. Erma Gillies. Invited guests Mrs. Walter Joseph, Mrs. J. M. Williams, Mrs. MeGarry. Score prizes for points Mrs. Neilson; honors, Mrs. Miller; Mil-ler; consolation, Mrs. Sloan; guest, Mrs. Williams. A delicious three course dinner was served. The table was centered with a large crystal basket of sweet peas in pastel shades, with smaller baskets at each end. The favors were dainty Japanese fans. Weinie RoaHt Miss Dorothy and Betty Murdock entertained the following girls on a weinie roast: Miss Jayne Sloan, Miss Margaret Williams, Kathrine McKeon j of Riverside, Calif., Dorothy and Phyllis Levi. They had a jolly time i cooking their weinies over a bonfire. I ! - Birthday Party Mrs. A. L. Webb entertained Satur-( Satur-( 'lay evening the occasion being her .-(pns twentieth birthday. The evening was spent in playing cards and games Delicious refreshments were served to the following guests: Honora Hutch-ins. Hutch-ins. Piiylis Ievi, Kathrine McKeon of Kiver.-ide Calif., Dorothy Murdock, Jayne Sloan, Ralph Tanner, Frank Carter, Alan Tanner, Ranee Connell, Howard Tanner, Harry Smurthwaite; of Salt Lake City, and the guest of honor Lawrence Webb. A lare cake adorned the center of the table with the dales 1910 and 1930. The Mbnday night bridge club were delighfully entertained at the home of Mrs. A. E. Smith, members present Mrs. J. M. Williams, Mrs. Wm. Cochrane, Coch-rane, Mrs. A. M. Fotheringham, Mrs. C. C. Sloon, Mrs. C. M. Copeland invited in-vited guests, Mrs. J. C. Jelfers, Mrs. C. L. Ford, score prizes for points Mrs. Sloan, honors Mrs. Cochrane, guests Mrs. Jeffers. A delicious feast of home-made ice cream, cake and punch was enjoyed. Mrs. N. C. Churchill entertained the Saturday Bridge club at her home Wednesday afternoon, members pre-sen pre-sen Mrs. C. C. Sloan, Mrs. Win. Morley, Mor-ley, Mrs. J. M. Williams, Mrs. Rue Nielson, Mrs. Wm. The Old Friends club spent a jolly afternoon playing five hundred, at at home of Mrs. A. M. Fotheringham Wednesday afternoon, the following members were present Mrs. Carl Levi, Mrs. Scott Tanner, Mrs. M. 11. Pool, Mrs. J. II. Parsons, Mrs. John James, invited guest Mrs. Roy White, Sr, Prizes for high Mrs. Parsons low Mrs. Tanner. Dainty refreshments were served. |
