Show Dr. Robert Moss to address Student Education Assn. Dr. Robert Moss, Chairman of the Division of Education at Southern Utah State College, Col-lege, will speak on teaching innovations at the monthly meeting of the Student Education Edu-cation Association at 7 p.m-tonight, p.m-tonight, Thursday in the SUSC Recital Hall. Many faculty members on the education staff at the college col-lege will participate with Moss In a panel discussion, according to Jolene Piatt, student stu-dent chairman of the meeting. The program will focus on new methods which are being implemented in schools throughout the United States. Phillip Carter, professor in the School of Education, stated that some of the areas to be covered include early student teaching and internships. Mary Clark, SUSC SEA pres. ident, said that the meetings are presented to prepare prospective pro-spective teachers for changes which are revolutionizing traditional roles in education. The SUSC SEA is an affiliate affili-ate of the National Education Association. Among Utah's major universities and colleges, col-leges, SUSC has built the , strongest SEA organization, with more than 100 members. State positions, including the office of president, are currently cur-rently held by SUSC students. |
