Show Program offered for wives of narried students A special program is being offered for wives of married students in conjunction with Southern Utah State College evening school and adult education edu-cation programs. Fees for the classes are $2 per class or $6 per credit hour if desired. Mothers may enroll their children in a pre-school class while they attend the afternoon classes. There is no extra charge for this service Registration for the classes will be Thursday, January 7, at 2 p.m. in the Family Living Center of the Science Building. Classes will begin Tuesday, January 12. Classes in the special program pro-gram and time being taught include: CTRA 125 Family Clothing Cloth-ing Construction and Buying. Thursdays 3-5. An introduction introduc-tion of principles of basic clothing construction with emphasis em-phasis on buying family clothing- HA 180 Managing of Financial Fin-ancial and Legal Aspects of the Modem Family, Wednesdays Wednes-days 3:15-5:15. A study of the legal aspects of marriage and family life such as marriage status, property rights, separation separa-tion and divorce, adoption, custody of children, wills, etc. HA 3S5 Buying Equipment Equip-ment for the Home, Tuesdays 2-3 with a lab, time to be arranged. ar-ranged. A study of selection and use of appliances used in a home and how to obtain maximum satisfaction and efficient ef-ficient operation. FN lit Menu Planning and Low Cost Meals, Thursdays Thurs-days preferred, time to be arranged. ar-ranged. Planning, preparation and serving family meals with consideration given to time, nergy, nutritional value and money resources. |
