Black, j shown here with his wife and ten children, has com- i pleted work for his degree in Industrial Technology. Wm D. Black earns Industrial Technology degree William D. Black has just completed requirements for a bachelor of science degree in Industrial Technology at the Southern Utah State College, here in Cedar City. Bill Black has carried a full schedule at the College for the past year while also filling fill-ing a responsible, full-time position with the Federal Aviation Av-iation Administration. Locally, he is Chief of the Radar Unit of the Airway Facilities Sector. Sec-tor. Bill's career with FAA began be-gan in 1957 in Bono, Nevada. He was later assigned to duty in Denver, Colorado, and Salt Lake City. He came to Cedar I City in 1967 from Salt Lake. Prior to entering on duty with he FAA. he served his country coun-try in the Air Force. Bill is a native of Deseret, Utah, a son of Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Black. He is married to the former Belva Jess. They are the parents of ten fine children shown in the accompanying accom-panying family picture. Fred Stuhff, Manager of the Airway Facilities Sector, here in Cedar City, upon congratulating congratu-lating Mr. Black on his latest ) achievement, had the follow-1 I ing statement to make: "Mr. Black has that rare combination combina-tion of both brains and energy ener-gy and applies the old-fash- j ioned virtue of diligence to every assigned task."
