Show Alban J. Dobrusky, 74, succumbs, funeral Wednesday Alban Joseph Dobrusky, 74, well-known mechanic and garage operator in Parowan for many years, died at the Valley View Medical Center late Monday afternoon following follow-ing a lingering illness. Funeral Fu-neral services were held Wednesday-afternoon. The deceased was born in Dwight, Neb. on June 3, 1896, and came west to Utah when in his teens in search of work. A heavy duty mechanic, he worked as an equipment operator oper-ator in this area for many years, as a cat operator for the CCC, the Forest Service, and on area roads. He later built his own shop at his home property which he has operated since, specializing in the repair of farm and heavy equipment. He was married to Mary Haycock, and later divorced. Married Lavern L. Rosenberg of Cedar City Oct. 30, 1918 and she with the following children chil-dren survive him: Mrs. El-wood El-wood (Eloise) Page and Thomas Tho-mas Dobrusky, both Las Vegas, Ve-gas, Nov.; Mrs. Bessie Ann Knabb, San Leandro, Calif, and Joseph Dobrusky of Albuquerque, Al-buquerque, New Mexico. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren grandchil-dren and one sister Mrs. Bessie Bes-sie D. Sneclden, Missouri; two brothers, James and Alphonso Dobrusky, both Lincoln, Neb. |
