Logical place for cryofractrue TOOELE A cryofracture incineration facility should not hi built at Tooele Army Depot, according to Army officials, but TAD is the only logical place for it, said Sen. Jake Gam, R-Utah. "Cryofracture' is one of two processes used to destroy chemical arms. The other process is commonly referred to as "baseline technology." A baseline facility is now under construction at TDA. Its existence is not threatened by recent development, but its projected completion date has been pushed back to August 1993. The setback, plus an announcement Tuesday to build a cryofracture cryofrac-ture facility at Pueblo Army Depot instead of at Tooele, upset Sen. Gam Tuesday.
