Show REMINISCENCES A number of our citizens have gone on their annual fishing vacation. va-cation. Those that have returned report a fine time and splendid fishing. Jos. R. Lewis, our pioneer blacksmith, has returned from Prpvo, where he has been under the doctor's care.. We are pleased to state that he is much improved in health. Mrs. W. C. Perry has been quite ill for a few days but has now almost recovered. Last week a fine big boy came to the home of . Heber Preece. Everybody concerned doing well. Guy J. Winslow of Iowa came in on Saturday's auto. He will make an extended visit with his brothers, the Winslow boys, whom he has not seen for over ten years. Mr. Dietz, U. S. water commissioner, commis-sioner, and State Engineer Beers have been looking over the Lake Fork water systems the past few days. They left Wednesday. M. j B. Pone and Commissioner Moffitt, accompanied them over the state road between here and Colton. They expect to make some changes to benefit the road. The Upper Blue bench Irrigation district will hold an election to ratify the contract to build their ditch, on Saturday, August 23. Jacob Kroupa has returned from Provo. Monte and Dutch say 'twas a mistake. W. O. Creer came in from Provo Friday, to inspect the work now, being done on the lower Blue bench canal. He reports the work being done satisfactory and workl progressing rapidly. 26 per cent I of the work has been completed. I Chas. Odekirk and family re- J turned Sunday from a two weeks' fishing trip on the Yellowstone. There must be a lot of fish in that brook, from the stories now being told by Charles. In two years the Reservation increased in-creased in voting population some 80 per cent. Winslow, secretary, of the Blue Bench Irrigation District No. 1, left on Monday's stage for Provo to attend to ditch matters. A. M. Murdock is down from his Strawberry ranch. The Etude Music club met Wednesday Wed-nesday afternoon and enjoyed a very interesting hour. The second lesson of Haydn, his life and works was given by Miss Bcrnlce Hansen. Selections were rendered by Florence Marsing, Sterling Alexander, Alex-ander, Thelma Eilllngs, Grace and Pearl Powell (duet).
