A telegram congratulating the Progressives Pro-gressives of Utah on the result oi' the ; election in the state was received yes-j yes-j terday by A. T. Moon, Progressive national na-tional committeeman, from John Al. Parker of Louisiana, vice presidential ! candidate on the Progressive ticket. JNo ; presidential candidate was nominated by the .Bull Jiloosers, and ALr. Parker's name did not appear on the Progressive ' ticket in this state. It was upon his advice and consent that the Democratic electors wero placed on the Progressive ticket in Utah. Mr. Parker's telegram follows: Many thanks for appreciated telegram. tele-gram. My hearty congratulations on what you accomplished in Utah. Please wire me day message tomorrow tomor-row morning how many Progressive votes you think were cast for Wilson. Wil-son. Hope very much he is elected. In reply Mr. Moon sent the following telegram : We know Progressive vote elected Wilson electors in Utah. Difficult to separate vote, as returns were only made on total votes given combination candidates. In 1912 we cast over 24,000. Progressives are much stronger now. Have good organization.
