Show BOYS CAUGHT IN ACT OF TAKING MACHINES Two boys, each about 15 years of age, arid evidently belonging to respectable families, were arrested last night charged with stealing two automobiles. One automobile belongs to Frank Xevin of the Stewart apartments, while 'the other is owned by W. T. Benson, 67 South Twelfth East street. The boys told Captain John Ilempel that they' made a pact to get two automobiles auto-mobiles so that each could drive one. They stoutly denied having any intention inten-tion of stealing them, declaring that after a ''little spin" they would have returned them to a spot near where the ears were taken. Mr. Nevin saw them on East South Temple street. The boys were tinkering with a machine which they apparently did not know how to handle. He took them to the police station, where the boys told him that they had also taken his car and that he would find it a block or so from the other machine on East South Temple street. The boys will appear before the juvenile juve-nile court. |
